Braunschweig, Bad Harzburg, Berlin

So.. it was last tuesday. It hit me that the following week i would have a break from school.. and I needed a plan.... hmm.. Originally I called for Wilno, Lithuania. But to go there, I required a partner and nobody accepted my proposition. So I went to Braunschweig, to visit my old roomie.

It was awesome.. with alot of my usual randmoness. I managed to loose my wallet... and not get it back. I lost it in Magdeburg.. it had all my money and all my ability to get money in it - for a few hours, I was stuck in the middle of Germany, without any knowledge of the language, and with 5 polish zloty - and in a town that I didn't have any friends /relatives in. I managed.. but it wasn't an experience I want to re-live.(In Braunschweig - theatre hall)

Bad Harzburg - 50 min train ride south of Braunschweig - I went for the day to NationalPark Harz - home of the highest peak in northern Germany.

I managed to get a few hours in Berlin - it would have been a few days had I not lost my wallet. I just have to say that I didn't really look like a tourist. And.. there is a BIG different between eastern and western Germany - even today. Even between eastern and western Berlin. I was quite surprised... I would say that there are parts in the Czech Republic that look alot better than eastern Germany.
